Tersa Viebrock Hall - Class of 2015
Teresa Viebrock, Class of 1995, was born to Ron and Jody Viebrock in Coeur d Alene, Idaho. She has one sister, Terra Nielson, who also graduated from Lakeland High-School.
Teresa played basketball, volleyball, and track and field at Lakeland High School from 1992 through 1995. Teresa went on to play basketball at North Idaho College from 1995-1997, also participated in outdoor track and field in 1997. Teresa came back to North Idaho College in 1998 and participated in outdoor and indoor track and field and cross-country. Teresa later went on to receive her BA from Lewis and Clark State College and a Master’s of Education from University of Idaho, while assistant coaching for NIC’s cross-country, indoor and outdoor track and field teams.
Her athletic accomplishments at Lakeland include: lettering in varsity basketball 3 years, varsity volleyball 3 years, and track and field 4 years. She broke 10 track and field records while at Lakeland High School - the 1600 meter is still standing. She was the A-2 State Champion in 1992 for the 800 meter relay and 400 meter dash. She held All-league honors in basketball and volleyball, and was a member of the All-State basketball team in 1995. Her college athletic achievements include NJCAA Regional Championship in basketball and placed 6th at NJCAA Nationals in 1997, 1998 NJCAA National All-American in Cross-Country, NJCAA indoor track and field National Championships, where the team took 3rd and were named coaches All-Americans. She is on the North Idaho College all-time list for the 1500 meter and the 3,000 meter, and was named Female Athlete of the year at NIC in 1998.
Teresa and her husband, James Hall, live in Grand Forks, BC with their 2 children, Eli and Sylvie Jane on a 225 acre cattle ranch. Teresa works as a Clinical Supervisor and Mental Health professional at Boundary Family and Individual Services Society, a non-profit human services agency. Teresa and her family enjoy outdoor activity and spend much of their time gardening, time at the river, horseback riding and visiting family as much as possible.
