Kurtis William Reese - Class of 2015
Kurtis William Reese, Class of 1998 was born to Bill and Marsha Reese. He has 3 brothers, Kevin, KC, and Kyle – all graduates of Lakeland.
During his 4 years at Lakeland, Kurtis played football, basketball and baseball. His athletic achievements and awards include the following:

Varsity letters 1995, 1996, 1997 and Scholar Athlete in 1997
1997 – Football team captain, Most Valuable Player
Intermountain League MVP
Intermountain League All-league
All-North Idaho
All-state 2nd team
IML champions and played in the state A2 semi-finals

After graduating from Lakeland, Kurtis attended college at Liberty University where he played football and baseball from 1998 to 2000, then went on to Azusa Pacific University and played football in 2000, and attended Whitworth University from 2001 to 2003 where he played baseball and football. He was selected for All-conference in baseball in 2002.
Kurtis and his wife, Tamara, of 10 years have 4 children – Caden, 7; Brooklyn, 6; Kai, 4, and Kole, 7 months. He works for the Spokane Police Department, and is currently a Sergeant assigned to the downtown precinct. He’s been a police officer for 10 ½ years. In his spare time, he enjoys family time, camping, dirt bike riding, and going with his wife to their children’s sporting events.
