Throughout her athletic career, Erin feels like there have been many instrumental people that have contributed to her success.  She would like to thank her parents and family for believing in her and always encouraging her to try new things, all of her coaches for motivating and inspiring her to work hard and push herself to new levels of competition, and the local community for providing her with confidence and support.

Erin graduated from Idaho State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences and a minor in Geo-technology.  She currently works at the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation as a cartographer in Heyburn, Idaho.  She also coaches a competitive gymnastics team at Elevate Gymnastics in Burley, Idaho.

Since college, Erin has continued to be active.  She has run in several races (mostly 5K’s) and plays on volleyball and softball city league teams.  She just recently became a member of the Idaho 12’ers Club, having summited all Idaho peaks over 12,000 feet (there are 9 of them).
