"POST FALLS — McKie Gregory recorded a hat trick for the Trojans in a nonleague win over the Hawks at Post Falls High.
“We started off really well and then got a little lackadaisical in the first half,” Post Falls coach Gabe Lawson said. “I got after them a little bit at halftime, and we put together a better second half. We were able to play some of our younger kids on the varsity field. We’re still a work in progress, but getting better.”
Ethan Lawson had a goal and two assists for Post Falls (2-4), which resumes 5A Inland Empire League play at Lewiston on Saturday at noon.
Lakeland (0-9) travels to Timberlake on Tuesday."
